Motivational story in nepali, How do we get wisdom?

Motivational story in nepali, How do we get wisdom?

Nepali inspirational story

Motivational story be courageous

Motivational story be courageous

Late in the evening I was walking in the park. Suddenly I heard scream coming from behind bushes. I stopped to listen and understood that a woman was being attacked, I heard sounds of fighting and muttering. For several moments I was hesitating, should I get involved?

I panicked, I was frightened for my own safety. Maybe it is better to call the police? Then I realized that a woman‘s voice becomes weaker, so I knew I have to act quickly. Can I run away from this? Finally I decided that I have to help this unknown woman even if I am risking my own life. I felt some strange transformation inside, the moral and physical strength, so I ran behind the bushes. I pulled the attacker off the girl, we felt to the ground and grappled for several minutes. Then the assailant jumped up and ran away.

Breathing hard I slowly came up to the girl, who was cowering behind a tree. It was dark, so I could not see her face clearly. I felt, that she is very frightened, so I talked to her from a distance: „You are safe now, it‘s ok, the man had run away.“ After a few moments I heard her words with a great amazement in her voice: „Dad, is that you?“. And then I realized, that the girl was my youngest daughter.

Motivational story for students

Motivational story for students

Happiness and Luck were smiling widely at him. Everything he wanted he got without any effort. Tall, strong, handsome man for whom every woman fought for, he never thought about money, because he regularly was getting an inheritance after an inheritance from an unknown relative.

He was so good at gambling that no one gambled with him anymore, and recently even the Casino owners started sending money to his charity account so that he would not visit their establishments. He lived moving from one country to another, speaking fluently on many languages.

He knew many celebrities, and often he financed their projects which no one else believed in, and which later turned out to be a success. Spoiled by fortune, he saw, knew and tasted everything that he wanted. The happiness and luck that he had would have been enough for a hundred lucky people, or for a thousand ordinary lives. With his friends and a gorgeous wife who adored him, he loudly celebrated the entrance into his thirties. In his happily married life he had two children: a boy that looked just like him, and a girl – a copy of her mother.

One day after his 30 birthday, Happiness and Luck visited Destiny. After seeing them on her doorstep she chattered:
- Yes, he is flying alone to Africa for a hunt. In a strong side wind and above the rebels. I have arranged everything with the wind and the rebels will miss. Is this what you wanted?

Happiness and Luck looked at each other smiling and Happiness said:
- No. Let happen what should happen.

Destiny raised her eyebrows in surprise:
- But they will shoot him down. He will die.

Happiness and Luck shook their heads.
- Explain, - Destiny demanded, - you did so much for his wellbeing and now you are leaving him.

Both shook their heads again and Happiness said:
- He was happier than everyone else. He reached his peak, after that the fall begins. In the chase for a bigger experience he already tried drugs. It will be the reason for the collapse and breakdown of his family. He will burn fast, but will suffer and torment his closest people; he will ruin the impression of himself. And in this way, his life will remain a colourful festival. Everyone will be sorry for him, for the widow and the children, they will say: He was a one of a kind man, brave, lucky, generous. He did so much good and he could have done even more… Life is a shooting star.

After carefully listening Destiny uttered thoughtfully:
- Well, yes. To leave on time is also a success.
- I ask only one thing, - Luck said, - so that the rebels are accurate and the death is sudden.
- He won’t understand anything, - Destiny responded.
- Won’t understand, - agreed Happiness, - we were both wrong. He simply cannot understand.

And Luck finished sadly:
- This is the last thing that we can do for him.

Touching story

Touching story

My name is John.
I had a best friend by name Michael.
Our friendship was stronger than that of brothers, we schooled, ate, played and did everything together and our parents were so proud of us we always stood and fought for each other whenever trouble arose and 'happiness' was our best friend cos we were always happy.
One day, I took a woman and decided to marry not knowing that.............

As time went on, we got busy planning for our wedding and my best friend was so happy for me, just like I was also wishing him to find his own partner for marriage so that he wouldn't feel so lonely after I get married to my wife.
Few weeks to our wedding, Michael visited me but met my absence. My wife-to-be was at home and Michael was not so relaxed without me but I asked him to wait at my house until I returned.

To my surprise, I got home and he wasn't there, only for my wife to tell me that my best friend was trying to rape her. I believed her bcos I loved her so much and this got me so mad.
Quickly, I drove down to Michael's house and before he could say a word, I hit him with a bottle of flower pot which he sustained a serious brain injury and he got admitted at the hospital.
On going back to my house, I heard my wife speaking on the phone, "Don't worry Joyce, he believed everything I told him and I'm sure they're already fighting now". Joyce was a girl that was dying to have Michael back in our school days but he didn't want to date her so that our friendship wont be jeopardized.
She was surprised when she ended the call only to see me behind her.

I rushed out without saying a word, running and hoping my best friend forgives me but it all went tragic when the doctors told me he died after a brain surgery. I weep everyday I wake up and I feel like killing myself. HOW COULD I HAVE BEEN SO STUPID????

This is what happens, the devil brings spirits of confusion whenever he sees us happy and we fail to realize this

Great story Unconditional love

Unconditional love

A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home after having fought in Vietnam. He called his parents from San Francisco.

“Mom and Dad, I’m coming home, but I’ve a favor to ask. I have a friend I’d like to bring home with Me.”

“Sure,” they replied, “we’d love to meet him.”

“There’s something you should know the son continued, “he was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land mind and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go, and I want him to come live with us.”

“I’m sorry to hear that, son. Maybe we can help him find somewhere to live.”

“No, Mom and Dad, I want him to live with us.”

“Son,” said the father, “You don’t know what you’re asking. Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden on us. We have our own lives to live, and we can’t let something like this interfere with our lives. I think you should just come home and forget about this guy. He’ll find a way to live on his own.”

At that point, the son hung up the phone. The parents heard nothing more from him. A few days later, however, they received a call from the San Francisco police. Their son had died after falling from a building, they were told.

The police believed it was suicide. The grief-stricken parents flew to San Francisco and were taken to the city morgue to identify the body of their son. They recognized him, but to their horror they also discovered something they didn’t know, their son had only one arm and one leg.

Thoughts

The parents in this story are like many of us. We find it easy to love those who are good-looking or fun to have around, but we don’t like people who inconvenience us or make us feel uncomfortable. We would rather stay away from people who aren’t as healthy, beautiful, or smart as we are.

Thankfully, there’s someone who won’t treat us that way. Someone who loves us with an unconditional love that welcomes us into the forever family, regardless of how messed up we are.

Tonight, before you tuck yourself in for the night, say a little prayer that God will give you the strength you need to accept people as they are, and to help us all be more understanding of those who are different from us!!!

There’s a miracle called Friendship that dwells in the heart you don’t know how it happens or when it gets started but you know the special lift it always brings and you realize that Friendship Is God’s most precious gift!

Friends are a very rare jewel, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed they lend an ear, they share a word of praise, and they always want to open their hearts to us.
If you loved it,
Share it for your loved ones...

Our happiness lies in the happiness of other people.

Our happiness lies in the happiness of other people.

Once a group of 50 people was attending a seminar.
Suddenly the speaker stopped and decided to do a group activity. He started giving each one a balloon. Each one was asked to write his/her name on it using a marker pen. Then all the balloons were collected and put in another room.

Now these delegates were let in that room and asked to find the balloon which had their name written, within 5 minutes. Everyone was frantically searching for their name, colliding with each other, pushing around others and there was utter chaos.

At the end of 5 minutes no one could find their own balloon.
Now each one was asked to randomly collect a balloon and give it to the person whose name was written on it.
Within minutes everyone had their own balloon.

The speaker began— exactly this is happening in our lives. Everyone is frantically looking for happiness all around, not knowing where it is.

Our happiness lies in the happiness of other people. Give them their happiness; you will get your own happiness.
And this is the purpose of human life.

Short story with great moral

Short story with great moral

A boy was born to a couple after eleven years of marriage. They were a loving couple and the boy was the apple of their eyes.
When the boy was around two years old, one morning the husband saw a medicine bottle open.
He was late for work so he asked the wife to cap the bottle and keep it in the cupboard.
The mother, preoccupied in the kitchen, totally forgot the matter.
The boy saw the bottle and playfully went to the bottle and, fascinated with its color, drank it all. It happened to be a poisonous medicine meant for adults in small dosages. When the child collapsed, the mother hurried him to the hospital, where he died.
The mother was stunned. She was terrified how to face her husband.
When the distraught father came to the hospital and saw the dead child, he looked at his wife and uttered just four words.

What do you think were the four words?

The husband just said "I Love You Darling"

MORAL LESSON:
The husband's totally unexpected reaction is proactive behavior.
The child is dead. He can never be brought back to life.
There is no point in finding fault with the mother. Besides, if only he have taken time to keep the bottle away, this will not have happened. No point in attaching blame.
She had also lost her only child. What she needed at that moment was consolation and sympathy from the husband. That is what he gave her.

NOTE:
Sometimes we spend time asking who is responsible or who to blame, whether in a relationship, in a job or with the people we know.
We miss out some warmth in human relationship in giving each other support. After all, shouldn't forgiving someone we love be the easiest thing in the world to do?
Treasure what you have. Don't multiply pain, anguish and suffering by holding on to forgiveness.
If everyone can look at life with this kind of perspective, there would be much fewer problems in the world.

Motivational story on anger

Motivational story on anger

A Hindu saint who was visiting river Ganges to take bath found a group of family members on the banks, shouting in anger at each other. He turned to his disciples smiled ‘n asked. ‘Why do people shout in anger shout at each other?’ Disciples thought for a while, one of them said, ‘Because we lose our calm, we shout.’ ‘But, why should you shout when the other person is just next to you? You can as well tell him what you have to say in a soft manner.’ asked the saint Disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the other disciples.

Finally the saint explained, . ‘When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other to cover that great distance.

What happens when two people fall in love? They don’t shout at each other but talk softly, Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is either nonexistent or very small…’ The saint continued, ‘When they love each other even more, what happens? They do not speak, only whisper ‘n they get even closer to each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other ‘n that’s all. That is how close two people are when they love each other.’

He looked at his disciples ‘n said. ‘So when you argue do not let your hearts get distant, Do not say words that distance each other more, Or else there will come a day when the distance is so great that you will not find the path to return.’

Each Mrng Grandpa Was Up Early Sitting At The Kitchen Table Reading his religious Holy Book. I Try To Read The Holy Book JustLike You But I Don't Understand it, And What I Do Understand I Forget As Soon As I Close The Book. What Good Does Reading The Holy Book do?"The Grandfather Quietly Turned From Putting Coal in The Stove And Replied,"Take This Coal Basket Down To The River And Bring Me Back A Basket Of Water."The Boy Did As He Was Told, But All The Water Leaked Out Before He Got Back To The House. The Grandfather Laughed And Said, "You'll Have To Move A Little Faster Next Time," And SentHim Back To The River With The Basket To Try Again. This Time The Boy Ran Faster, But Again The Basket Was Empty Before He Returned Home.Out Of Breath, He Told His Grandfather That it Was impossible To Carry Water in A Basket, And He Went To Get A Bucket instead. The Old Man Said, "I Don't Want A Bucket Of Water; I Want A Basket Of Water. You're just Not Trying Hard Enough," And He Went Out The Door To Watch The Boy Try Again. At This Point, The Boy Knew it Was impossible, But He Wanted To Show His Grandfather That Even if He Ran As fastAs He Could, The Water Would Leak Out Before He Got Back To The House. The Boy Again Dipped The Basket into River And Ran Hard,But When He Reached His Grandfather The Basket Was Again Empty.Out of Breath, He Said, " See Grandpa, it's Useless!""So you Think it is Useless?" The Old Man Said, "Look At The Basket." " The Boy Looked At The Basket And ForThe first Time Realized That The Basket Was Different. It Had Been Transformed From A Dirty Old Coal Basket And Was Now Clean, inside And Out."Son, That's What Happens When You Read The Holy Book. You Might Not Understand Or Remember Everything, But When You Read it, You Will Be Changed, inside And out".That is the work of Waheguruji and Bani in our lives nd Let us all Clean ourselves

Motivational story eagle in storm

Motivational story eagle in storm

Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks?

The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it.

The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.

When the storms of life come upon us - and all of us will experience them - we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God. The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God's power to lift us above them.

God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure and disappointment in our lives. We can soar above the storm.

Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them.

Motivational story don't join rat race

Motivational story don't join rat race

A boat docked in a tiny Goan village. A tourist from Mumbai complimented the Goan fisherman on the quality of his fish and asked how long it took him to catch them.
'Not very long,' answered the fisherman.
'But then, why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?' asked the Mumbaite.
The Goan fisherman explained that his small catch was sufficient to meet his needs and those of his family.
The Mumbaite interrupted, 'I have an MBA from IIM-A, and I can help you!
You should start by fishing longer every day. You can then sell the extra fish you catch. With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat.'
'And after that?' asked the Goan.
'With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one and a third one and so on until you have an entire fleet of trawlers.
Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can then negotiate directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant.
You can then leave this little village and move to Panjim, or even Mumbai. From there you can direct your huge new enterprise.'
'How long would that take?' asked the Goan.
'Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years,' replied the Mumbaite.
'And after that?'
'Afterwards? Well my Friend, That's when it gets really interesting,'chuckled the Mumbaite, 'When your business gets really big, you can start selling stocks and make millions!'
'Millions? Really? And after that?' asked the Goan.
'After that you'll be able to retire, live in a tiny village near the coast, sleep late, play with your children, catch a few fish, take a siesta with your wife and spend your evenings doing what you like with your buddies..'
'With all due respect sir, but that's exactly what I am doing now… So what's the point wasting 25 years?' asked the Goan.

And the moral of the story is? Know where you're going in life. You may already be there. Life in the present world is indeed a rat race. Many who have qualifications from reputed universities too do not know where they are going…

Motivational story Picasso napkin.

motivational story of picasso
Motivational story Picasso napkin

Picasso is at a cafe, chilling with his buds, when someone points to his used napkin and asks:

-”Can you draw an ear on this napkin?” Picasso complies.

-”Can you draw an eye somewhere on this napkin?” Picasso complies again.

-”How about a mouth?” Picasso obliges, again.

-”Now sign the napkin for me”.

Picasso says: “Sure. That’ll be $25,000!”

-”$25,000??? But, it only took you two minutes to draw them!” complains the fella.

-”Yes, but it took me 25 years for my signature to be worth something,” replies Picasso sheepishly.

Moral of the story: Artists, writers, designers spend years toiling and honing their skills; just because somethinglooks simple doesn’t mean it’s cheap and certainly not free.

Having a Best Friend

Having a Best Friend

A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face.

The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand “Today my best friend slapped me in the face”.

They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone “Today my best friend saved my life”.

The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, “After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?” The other friend replied “When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it.”

Moral: Do not value the things you have in your life. But value who you have in your life.

Management Lessons In A Little Bird’s Story!

Management Lessons In A Little Bird’s Story!

A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold, the bird froze and fell to the ground in a large field. While it was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on it.

As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, it began to revive and felt how warm it was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.

A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him!

The Management Lessons From The Story
1) Not everyone who drops shit on you is your enemy.

2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.

3) And when you’re in deep shit, keep your mouth shut!

Heart touching story brother's love

Heart touching story brother's love

Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare and serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year-old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister. I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, “Yes, I’ll do it if it will save her.”

As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the color returning to her cheeks. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded. He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, “Will I start to die right away?”.

Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her.

Short motivational story enjoy life

Short motivational story enjoy life

A long time ago, there was an Emperor who told his horseman that if he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he likes, then the Emperor would give him the area of land he has covered.

Sure enough, the horseman quickly jumped onto his horse and rode as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could. He kept on riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible. When he was hungry or tired, he did not stop because he wanted to cover as much area as possible.

Came to a point when he had covered a substantial area and he was exhausted and was dying. Then he asked himself, "Why did I push myself so hard to cover so much land area? Now I am dying and I only
need a very small area to bury myself."

The above story is similar with the journey of our Life. We push very hard everyday to make more money, to gain power and recognition. We neglect our health , time with our family and to appreciate the surrounding beauty and the hobbies we love.

Moral-One day when we look back , we will realize that we don't really need that much, but then we cannot turn back time for what we have missed.

Short Inspirational Story with successful life moral: Enjoy life at every movement

Short Inspirational Story with powerful moral:Enjoy life at every movement

Once a fisherman was sitting near seashore, under the shadow of a tree smoking his beedi. Suddenly a rich businessman passing by approached him and enquired as to why he was sitting under a tree smoking and not working. To this the poor fisherman replied that he had caught enough fishes for the day.

Hearing this the rich man got angry and said: Why don’t you catch more fishes instead of sitting in shadow wasting your time?
Fisherman asked: What would I do by catching more fishes?
Businessman: You could catch more fishes, sell them and earn more money, and buy a bigger boat.
Fisherman: What would I do then?
Businessman: You could go fishing in deep waters and catch even more fishes and earn even more money.
Fisherman: What would I do then?
Businessman: You could buy many boats and employ many people to work for you and earn even more money.
Fisherman: What would I do then?
Businessman: You could become a rich businessman like me.
Fisherman: What would I do then?
Businessman: You could then enjoy your life peacefully.
Fisherman: What do you think I’m doing right now?

We don’t need to wait for tomorrow to be happy and enjoy our life. We don’t even need to be more rich, more powerful to enjoy life. LIFE is at this moment, enjoy it fully..

Short motivational and inspiring story: Puppies For Sale

Short motivational and inspiring story:  Puppies For Sale

A store owner was tacking a sign above his door that read "Puppies For Sale." Signs like that have a way of attracting small children, and sure enough, a little boy appeared under the store owner's sign. "How much are you going to sell the puppies for?" he asked.

The store owner replied, "Anywhere from $30 to $50."

The little boy reached in his pocket and pulled out some change. "I have $2.37," he said. "Can I please look at them?"

The store owner smiled and whistled and out of the kennel came Lady, who ran down the aisle of his store followed by five teeny, tiny balls of fur.

One puppy was lagging considerably behind. Immediately the little boy singled out the lagging, limping puppy and said, "What's wrong with that little dog?"

The store owner explained that the veterinarian had examined the little puppy and had discovered it didn't have a hip socket. It would always limp. It would always be lame.

The little boy became excited. "That is the puppy that I want to buy."

The store owner said, "No, you don't want to buy that little dog. If you really want him, I'll just give him to you."

The little boy got quite upset. He looked straight into the store owner's eyes, pointing his finger, and said, "I don't want you to give him to me. That little dog is worth every bit as much as all the other dogs and I'll pay full price. In fact, I'll give you $2.37 now, and 50 cents a month until I have him paid for."

The store owner countered, "You really don't want to buy this little dog. He is never going to be able to run and jump and play with you like the other puppies."

To his surprise, the little boy reached down and rolled up his pant leg to reveal a badly twisted, crippled left leg supported by a big metal brace. He looked up at the store owner and softly replied, "Well, I don't run so well myself, and the little puppy will need someone who understands!"

We ALL need is someone who understands us!!!
