The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.

When the storms of life come upon us - and all of us will experience them - we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God. The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God's power to lift us above them.

God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure and disappointment in our lives. We can soar above the storm.



Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them.

A boat docked in a tiny Goan village. A tourist from Mumbai complimented the Goan fisherman on the quality of his fish and asked how long it took him to catch them.
'Not very long,' answered the fisherman.
'But then, why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?' asked the Mumbaite.
The Goan fisherman explained that his small catch was sufficient to meet his needs and those of his family.
The Mumbaite interrupted, 'I have an MBA from IIM-A, and I can help you!
You should start by fishing longer every day. You can then sell the extra fish you catch. With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat.'
'And after that?' asked the Goan.
'With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one and a third one and so on until you have an entire fleet of trawlers.
Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can then negotiate directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant.
You can then leave this little village and move to Panjim, or even Mumbai. From there you can direct your huge new enterprise.'
'How long would that take?' asked the Goan.
'Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years,' replied the Mumbaite.
'And after that?'
'Afterwards? Well my Friend, That's when it gets really interesting,'chuckled the Mumbaite, 'When your business gets really big, you can start selling stocks and make millions!'
'Millions? Really? And after that?' asked the Goan.
'After that you'll be able to retire, live in a tiny village near the coast, sleep late, play with your children, catch a few fish, take a siesta with your wife and spend your evenings doing what you like with your buddies..'
'With all due respect sir, but that's exactly what I am doing now… So what's the point wasting 25 years?' asked the Goan.


And the moral of the story is? Know where you're going in life. You may already be there. Life in the present world is indeed a rat race. Many who have qualifications from reputed universities too do not know where they are going…

Can we really change this world? Are we happy with our life?

When people ask me what I want to do when I grow up, I say, "I want to change the world." 

That's a tough one, don't you think? In a world full of war, poverty and hatred, it's definitely not possible. Well, that's what some say. 

But you know what I think? There is hope. And you find it everywhere - old couples who've been together for a long time, little kids running around the playground, inspirational books, little babies, changing of the seasons, a brand new day - I find hope in everything single little thing. I find it every minute of everyday.

Around me, I find people of my age, doing drugs, going to parties - just to 'fit in', just to gain attention. We're so busy being selfish, comparing ourselves to others, setting unrealistic goals for ourselves, wanting to look prettier or lose more weight; make more money, be more popular.

But then I think, is that really what life's all about? There are innocent kids out there, being abused, murdered, raped, orphaned, and hungry. And here we all are, complaining about how tough our lives are, on us.

Most of us self harm and are always depressed. Why do we always try to run away from our problems, rather than just facing them? I mean this is life! You cannot run away from it, and you can definitely not hide from it.

All we can do is accept what life gives us, and face our problems, face our difficulties, face our frustrations. And maybe, just maybe, they'll turn into your best friends, your companions. They'll make you stronger, they'll help you face reality and they'll teach you to value the little things in life.

Because we always fail to look at the brighter side of things, we always fail to find happiness in little things. There are so many beautiful things around which we seldom notice. Maybe that is why people don't find happiness; we keep looking for it in the wrong places - money, fame.

'FIND' happiness - we all think it's some sort of destination. We keep "looking" for it; we wake up everyday wishing it would be the day where everything went right, wishing everything will turn okay, where we're completely happy and nothing upsetting would happen.

What we all fail to understand is that happiness isn't really something that we can "find". It's not a destination, it's not something you find along the road of life; it's a choice, a feeling - you can be happy wherever, whenever, only if you CHOOSE to be. Happiness is something within you, waiting to be found, waiting to keep you company, waiting to help you escape from this harsh reality. 
So here are your questions:

Are you happy?
Have you found what you were looking for?
Do you think life is tough?

What really motivates them? I wonder what, rather who, motivated these self-made men and great minds like Walt Disney, Abraham Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi, Thomas Edison, Isaac Newton! It’s difficult to think what will motivate you. We are often asked this question- 'Who is your role model?' I think hard. Really hard. I think of great people and ask myself, will this great philosopher really influence me? Do I want to become like him? In my head, the answer is always a 'No.' in my honest opinion; a person himself can motivate or de-motivate himself. One needs to find inspiration in what he is doing, not in different people. Motivation is the difference between waking up before dawn to pound the pavement and not lazing around the house whole day! So, have a deep desire to achieve something great, a desire to have a more satisfying life, a desire to be happier in every way. If you have these desires, you are a dreamer. All you need to do is find yourself an inspiration. It can be a book, a quote, a job or anything that gets you even an inch close to your dream. That would be your motivation. YOU are all you can be. Go on and be it.

However we get these type of people everywhere whether in social get together , parties, offices, schools etc. they may be our family members, relative or co-workers. Those people always have something to complain about. They don't look over situations positively due to which they are not able to recognize their opportunities as well. So don't ever be a part of those people who are chronic complainers. And also stay away from those people who are chronic complainers because studies shows that continuous exposure to negativity you may also think and behave that way.

Picasso is at a cafe, chilling with his buds, when someone points to his used napkin and asks:

-”Can you draw an ear on this napkin?” Picasso complies.

-”Can you draw an eye somewhere on this napkin?” Picasso complies again.

-”How about a mouth?” Picasso obliges, again.

-”Now sign the napkin for me”.

Picasso says: “Sure. That’ll be $25,000!”

-”$25,000??? But, it only took you two minutes to draw them!” complains the fella.

-”Yes, but it took me 25 years for my signature to be worth something,” replies Picasso sheepishly.



Moral of the story: Artists, writers, designers spend years toiling and honing their skills; just because somethinglooks simple doesn’t mean it’s cheap and certainly not free.

Girl:  Why do you love me? Why do you love to talk to me?
Boy: I can’t tell the reason. But I really like you…
Girl: You can’t even tell me the reason… how can you say you like me? How can you say you love me?
Boy: I really don’t know the reason, but I can prove that I love you.

Girl: Proof? No! I want you to tell me the reason. My friend’s boyfriend can tell her why he loves her but not you!
Boy: hmmmm  Ok...ok!!! I am saying. Because you are beautiful, because your voice is sweet, because you are caring, because you are loving, because you are thoughtful, because of your smile, because of your eyes, because of your belief on me because of your every movements.
The girl felt very satisfied with the boy’s answer.
Unfortunately, a few days later, the Lady met with an accident and went into the coma stage. Even she can’t move anywhere.


The Boy then placed a letter by her side, and here is the content:


Darling,
Because of your sweet voice that I love you…Now can you talk? No! Therefore I cannot love you.
Because of your care and concern that I like you…Now that you cannot show them, therefore I cannot love you.
Because of your smile, because of your every movement that I love you…Now can you smile? Now can you move?
No, therefore, I cannot love you.
If love needs a reason, like now, there is no reason for me to love you anymore.
Does love need a reason? NO!
Therefore, I still love you…And love doesn’t need a reason

I want to pay in full.

Life is not only bed of roses. I have faced a lot of problems in my life.Many times I was criticized, I fell down, I was pushed, I was betrayed and I was fulled.  I was able to handle some of those situations but not able in few other situations. I could not get up I started thinking that I cannot do that I started losing confidence and I was about to give up. mean while I was about to give up there was someone who gave me their hand, who holded my hand and said "come on you can do it".

I really appreciate those people who give me their hand when I was in need. I want to thank all those people hearty without their support I would not be able to stand in this competitive world. I would have lost in the crowd of people who even don't know themselves. Hope your hands will be on my head.

 Today there are a lot of people in this world who have lost their way, who have forgotten to live their life because of the rat race. there  are many people who give up their life thinking they are good for nothing, they don't believe on themselves. they want to quit their life because of worries , tension, pressure of unwanted things.They don't have any hope that tomorrow will be a good day and live their life worrying over past mistakes. And I want to grow a sprout of hope in them that something great is going to happen tomorrow in their life. I want those people to smile, people who have forgotten to smile may be because of  their economic status, jobs, education, business, relationship or by thinking about the future of their loved ones. I want to be a ray of light in their dark life. I want to be a hand that would help them to change
from Worrier to Warrior.

A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face.

The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand “Today my best friend slapped me in the face”.

They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone “Today my best friend saved my life”.

The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, “After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?” The other friend replied “When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it.”


Moral: Do not value the things you have in your life. But value who you have in your life.

A great love story Promise

Ever since the beginning The girl’s family member disagree her relationship with the boy. Saying that because of family background, if she insist of being together with the boy, she’ll suffer for her whole lifetime.

Because of the pressure applied by family members, she frequently quarrel with him. The girl does love the boy, she used to ask him, “How much do you love me?” Because the boy is not good with words, he used to make her angry. With additional comment from her parents, her mood get even worse. The boy, has become her “anger releasing target”. And the boy, just silently allowed her to continuously release her anger on him.

Later, the boy graduated from University. He plan to further study overseas but before he left. He proposed to the girl… ” I, don’t know how to say nice words but I do know that, I love you. If you agree, I am willing to take care of you, the whole life. About your family members, I will work hard to convince them and agree on us.”

“Marry me, will you?”, the girl agreed.

And her parents, looking at the effort shown by the boy, agreed with them. Finally, before the boy go oversea, they are engaged. The girl stay back in the hometown, step into the working society where as the boy continuing his study oversea. They maintained their relationship through telephone and letters. Although time is difficult to get through with, but both of them never give up.

One day, the girl left home for work as usual on her way to the bus stop, a car lose control and knock her down. As she awake from unconsciousness, she saw her parents and realize how seriously she got hurt and how fortunate of her, not to get killed.

Looking at her parents, with their faced got all wet by their tears, she tried to comfort them. But then, she found out that She can’t even spell out a word, she tried her best to make some voice but all she managed, was to breath without any voice. She’s mute. According to the doctor, the injury affected her brain, and that cause her to be mute for the rest of her life. Listening to her parents persuade, but can’t even reply with a single word, the girl collapsed. Throughout the days, others than crying silently, still it is crying.

Later, the girl discharged from hospital. Returning to her home, everything is still like before. Except that the phone ring, has turned into the worst nightmare of hers. Ring after ring, continuously stimulate her, stimulating her pain But she can’t tell the boy. She don’t want to be a burden to him, and wrote him a letter telling him that she no longer want to wait, the relationship between them ended, and even returned him the engagement ring. Facing the letters and telephone from the boy, all she can do, is to allow tears falling from her eyes.

Her father decided to move, after seeing the pain she is suffering. Hoping that she could forget everything and be happier into a new environment, the girl started to learn, slowly picking up sign language and start over again. Also telling herself to forget the boy.

One day, her best friend tell her that the boy’s back. He’s searching all around for her, she asked her best friend not to tell him about her and asked her to tell him to forget her. After that for more than a year there was no news of boy. One day her best friend tells her, that the boy is getting married soon, and passed the Wedding Card to her. She open the card sadly, but she found her name on the card.

The moment she want to ask her best friend, the boy appear in front of her. With an unfamiliar sign language, he told her ”I spent more than a year’s time, to force myself to learn sign language, in order to tell you, I have not forgot our promise, give me an opportunity, let me be your voice. I love you.”

Looking at the slow sign language by the boy, and the engagement ring she gave back to him, She finally smiled.
Moral: Do not be a coward and run away whenever there is a problem, remember that every problem has a solution, never ever break someone’s heart, you may not know when it will happen to you.

Once, there was this guy, who was in love with a girl. She was beautiful and gorgeous and for him, she was everything. He used to dream about her, about spending the rest of life with her, He used to spend all his time talking with her. His friends told him, “why do you dream so much about her, when you don’t even know if she loves you or not? First tell her your feelings, and get to know if she likes you or not”.

He felt that was the right way. The girl knew from the beginning, that this guy loves her. One day when he proposed, she rejected him and stopped talking to her. The boy tried a lot to speak to her but the girl didn't speak to him and not replied to any of his messages. His friends thought he would take alcohol, drugs etc and ruin his life. To their surprise, he was not depressed.

When they asked him how was it that he is not sad, he replied, “‘why should I feel bad? I lost one who never loved me and she lost the one who really loved and cared for her.”
Moral: True Love is Hard to Get. Love is all about giving to other person without greed of gaining anything in return, if other person rejects it, its him/her who will be losing the most important thing in life. So never feel dejected.
